We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Java Backend (Lisbon)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for developing micro-services using Java/Spring, integrating complex data flows, and ensuring high-performance applications that are secure and scalable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design & develop micro-services using Java/Spring
- Integrate near real-time complex data flows into the system
- Ensure high-performance applications that are secure and scalable
- Lead the development of solutions that meet business requirements
- Continuously improve the software development process
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software engineering
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in software engineering
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Experience with Java/Spring, RESTful APIs
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Knowledge of Kafka, Cassandra, Test Automation, Metrics, and reporting tools is a plus
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5-8 years of experience in software engineering
